BP FashionPress
This was a pre-existing theme for WordPress created by Roy Guan at Theme Junkie. I added the needed BuddyPress components so it would work in BuddyPress to build a community on celebrities or fashion.
I did tweak the sidebars a little so the sidebar ad could also be shown on directory pages. The BuddyPress parts are shuffled off of the main page, so at first glance, it still looks like a regular blog. Menu items and the admin bar lead to the BuddyPress areas.

Thank you for the great work! I would like to add the BuddyPress components to another theme for theme junkie “Channel Press”. How did you do for Fashion Press? Is it complicated?

Great template. For some reason, I can’t get the theme options to update on my site. I’m new to BP and WP so I am sure it’s a user error. When I browse the options table in the database, the options were not added. I tried to add the twitter and twitter_id manually to the table, but that didn’t fix it either.
Did I miss a step?
